Big Al, who began playing poker in 2004, is one of the most experienced tournament players at Fatty's. Al has cashed in over thirty live events, highlighted by back-to-back WSOP Main Event cashes in 2007 and 2008. He has cashed in a total of twelve WSOP events and has career tournament earnings of over 300K, which includes 90K online. Al and his wife of thirteen years, Maria, are both cancer survivors and spend much of their spare time running charity events to raise money to help fight against cancer and other health related causes.
